Dress Code
Dress code is a very important part of being able to provide the best dance education. Students MUST be in approved dress code in order to participate in each class.
Tiny Ballet: Pink leotards, Pink tights/nude, pink/nude ballet slippers, black tap shoes. Students may also add tutus & ballet skirts or sweaters if desired. (*Boys: black jazz pants/leggings or tights, white fitted t-shirt or tank top, black ballet slippers, and black tap shoes).
Ballet I: Light Blue leotards, pink/nude tights, pink/nude ballet slippers, hair in a neat bun. Students may add ballet sweaters, skirts and/or leg warmers for part of class, but be prepared to remove. (*Boys: black jazz pants/leggings or tights, white fitted t-shirt or tank top, black ballet slippers)
Ballet II/III: Maroon/Burgundy leotards, nude/pink tights, pink/nude ballet slippers, hair in a neat bun. Students may add ballet sweaters, skirts and/or leg warmers for part of class, but be prepared to remove. (*Boys: black jazz pants/leggings, white fitted t-shirt or tank top, black ballet slippers).
Ballet IIII+/Pointe: Black leotards, nude/pink tights, pink/nude slippers (or pointe shoes), hair in a neat bun. Students may add ballet sweaters, skirts and/or leg warmers for part of class, but be prepared to remove. (*Boys: black jazz pants/leggings, white fitted t-shirt or tank top, black ballet slippers).
Jazz, Contemporary/Modern, Tap, Acro: Leotards, dance shorts, leggings, sports bras, tank tops, fitted crop tops, etc…are acceptable. Tights are (optional but must be “convertible”). No baggy clothing (shorts included).
Black tap shoes (tap), tan jazz shoes (jazz), “foot-undies” or bare feet (contemporary/modern).
Hip-Hop: Either street-wear that you can move/stretch/bend VERY comfortably in or dance wear. Suggestions: Dance shorts, dance pants, sweat pants, joggers, sports bras, tank tops, crop tops, etc…Shoes should be sneakers/tennis shoes or shoes approved by your instructor. They are solely to be worn for the dance and not the streets.
Musical Theatre: Either clothes that you can move/stretch/bend comfortably in or dance wear. All musical theatre students should also wear EITHER jazz shoes or character shoes.
